About

I’ve been a movie lover and chronic rewatcher for as long as I remember. From trash to arthouse, I’ll give almost anything a go. I’ve been keeping a movie journal since 2006 and have written a little about movies online every now and then. My writings on cinema aren’t always eloquent and rarely probing (my feelings tend to override any deeper thoughts) but I really just love movies.

“For him the beauty of the cinema was that it confined its insidious potency to the charmed rectangle of the white screen. He was like one of those people who visit the funfair as amused and passive onlookers, all the while secretly dreading the moment they’ll be hustled aboard the roller-coaster by their more boisterous companions.”
