General/limited release:

Wonder Woman directed by Patty Jenkins, 1st of June (via Hoyts)

Rough Night directed by Lucia Aniello, 14th of June (via Hoyts)

These appeared on Hoyts and Event Cinemas websites but not on Flicks or The Reel Bits, so I’m a little uncertain of them:

Dear Other Self directed by Veronica Velasco, 1st of June (via Hoyts)

Dobaara: See Your Evil co-directed by Leena Tandon, 2nd of June (via Hoyts)

Vikram Vedha directed by Pushkar-Gayatri (husband and wife), 23rd of June (via Event Cinemas)

Our Time Will Come directed by Ann Hui, 29th of June (via Hoyts)*

*this one isn’t even on IMDB

Other:

I’m way too tired to check all the films on the Sydney Film Festival schedule but I know, at least, they have this selection of films and that The Beguiled is also screening among, I’m sure, other offerings from women. Full schedule is here.

Mercury has a screening of Things to Come, Cameraperson, and the Women’s Visions programme for Cinematheque in June.

Check below for where the films are screening*:

Palace Nova; Hoyts; Wallis; Greater Union; Reading Cinemas; Moonlight CinemaCapri Theatre; Odeon Star; The Regal Theatre/Trak Cinemas; Gawler Cinemas; Mercury Cinema**.

As always, I’m just one (forgetful and easily overwhelmed) person and can sometimes miss things so, please let me know if I have.

*I’ve focussed on cinemas that have chains in SA/only SA cinemas.

**Mercury screens limited current releases.
